Companies House has introduced a new identity verification process to help prevent people from using companies for illegal activities.
This means that anyone who sets up, manages, owns, or controls a company in the UK will need to verify their identity to confirm who they are.
If you don’t complete the verification process on time, it will be considered an offence and could lead to penalties, including fines.
Until your identity is verified, you won’t be able to submit filings for your company or register a new one.
